It's acutally harder than you might think to write good trivia questions. Though anyone can make up some questions or copy them from a book, getting 'good' questions is much harder. For example, we can have ten different 'Who is the Prime Minister of xyz country?' questions but this would get boring very quickly.
We make sure our trivia questions are not too easy nor too hard, and not irrelevant or obscure. They are interesting, entertaining, thought-provoking and memorable. Our goal is to have people talking about the questions for weeks to follow. Unlike the Prime Minister example above, we try to make our questions multi-dimensional so that even if you don't know the answer you might be able to guess it and, at the least, will be interested to hear the answer.
A successful trivia night will have interesting questions that are relevant to its audience. For example, teams attending a cricket club quiz night in Victoria will probably groan audibly if faced with a State of Origin Rugby League question.

As the name suggests, this question requires the players to solve the clues and name the person. A new clue is offered each round with the number of bonus points players can win falling with each additional clue. For example, the first clue might start "I was born in ..." and be worth 6 points. Teams only get one answer for the competition.
